Last Friday, reNEW Copenhagen welcomed 30 students from Utrecht University to the centre to learn more about the work done here, and about a career in stem cell medicine. The students are bachelor’s and master’s students who are studying biology and related fields.  

Associate Professor Mariaceleste Aragona gave a presentation on the research the reNEW does, and what a careers are available in stem cell research in Denmark, and globally. Afterwards, reNEW Master’s student Marnix van Soest and PhD student Karlien van Nerum presented their work as junior scientists. The reNEW Copenhagen engagement officer Mette C. Jørgensen coordinated the visit.
